Tessa’s research analysis is based on a neural networking framework that mimics the structure and function of the human brain to recognize patterns and solve complex problems in ways that AI’s large language models (LLMs) can’t.
The framework—Transparency, Explainability, and Significance, or “TES”—lets Tessa use the same sort of reasoning heuristics humans do to assess the trustworthiness of scientific information.
Once the reasoning analysis is done and scored, Tessa uses an LLM to concisely explain the findings and interact with users in natural language.
